Service Description
While presenting his research at a conference, Victor the Geneticist's briefcase full of research notes was stolen from his hotel room. The rest of the scholars have gathered and the investigation has begun. Who stole it and where did they go? We must get it back before it falls into the wrong hands -- it's a heist! Set in our homebrewed world of anthropomorphic animals headquartered at Catalyst Cabinet of Curiosities, we like to play a fun-first style game we lovingly call ORCS and DORCs. We use the D&D rules and heavily re-flavored races and classes. This game is for experienced players as there will not be a tutorial. You don't have to have played level 6 before, just that you know which dice to use when, understand how to make skill checks, saving throws and add modifiers to attacks. If you have any questions about your qualifications, feel free to send us an email. We begin at 6pm and the game is expected to go to 9:00 but can go overtime. This is an ages 21+ event with drinks and light snacks provided. All you need to bring is yourself! Character selection will be made in person once everyone arrives. We will have printed and digital character sheets available. You are welcome to re-flavor characters including name and gender. We are still working on character sheets but for a preview we will have: DORCS The geneticist - a hare, College of Glamor Bard The biologist - a sloth, Nature Domain Cleric The physicist engineer - a lynx, Armorer Artificer The Metaphysician - a snow leopard, divination wizard ORCS Red Panda battle master fighter Squirrel Thief Rogue A note on safety tools: Role playing games can present challenging topics or situations. This is an adult only game and we expect adult themes and situations to come up during play, though we never allow sexual assault by anyone. Please let us know if you have any subject sensitivities during checkout. We will also use the "X-card" tool during game for players to indicate discomfort. (Please note: a reservation is required for each player as we only have room for 6 players and 6 characters prepared.
